LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Laser hair removal is a safe and effective way to permanently reduce unwanted hair on the body. The Lumenis LightSheer Quattro is a state-of-the-art laser system used for hair removal that uses advanced technology to deliver precise and effective results.
During a laser hair removal treatment with the LightSheer Quattro, a handheld device is used to direct laser energy to the follicles. The laser energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles, which then heats up and damages the follicle, preventing future hair growth.
The number of treatments required depends on the individual patient and the area being treated. The LightSheer Quattro can effectively treat a wide range of skin types, including darker skin tones, making it a versatile option for many patients.
Overall, laser hair removal with the Lumenis LightSheer Quattro is a safe, effective, and virtually painless way to reduce unwanted hair. It offers long-lasting results and can be an excellent alternative to traditional methods of hair removal such as shaving, waxing, or electrolysis.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How should I prepare for my laser hair removal treatment?
We ask that you come to your appointment with clean skin and do not apply any lotions, creams, powders, oils, deodorants, sunscreen, or makeup to the area being treated. Please shave the area the day before your appointment. Avoid bleaching, plucking, or waxing the hair for eight weeks prior to your treatment. Stop any topical medications or skin care products to the area being treated at least three to five days before your appointment. Avoid the sun two to four weeks before and after your laser hair removal. RECENTLY TANNED SKIN CANNOT BE TREATED.
What can I expect during my treatment?
Prior to your first treatment session, you will have a free consultation to describe the laser hair removal process and answer any questions you may have. During this consultation, a skin assessment and test spot will also be performed to ensure safe settings for your unique skin tone and hair removal goals. During each laser hair removal session, protective eyewear will be worn in the treatment room. Our nurse will walk you through the treatment and is happy to answer any questions you may have. You may experience mild discomfort in the treated area, but it should not be painful. You will likely notice the smell of burnt hair during the session, this is normal and is a good sign that the treatment is working. Your sessions will be spaced out to capture the hair follicle in the optimal growth phase. The number of sessions needed to achieve hair removal varies per person, but results are typically noticed after the third session.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
The LightSheer Quattro is designed with patient comfort in mind. It uses a patented ChillTip technology to cool the skin during treatment, minimizing discomfort and reducing the risk of skin damage.
